GAS STATIONS OF AMERICA
My summers almost always include some kind of road trip.
A few summers ago, I drove across the country twice and I started photographing gas stations.
America’s one hell of a place, with some surprisingly weird and beautiful spots to fill your tank.

In case you couldn’t tell, it’s actually built into the mountain.
The gas station across the street (pictured left) is a lowly peasant in the shadow of Hollow Mountain.
Passing by this unique gas station was no accident. I sought it out.
And I’m glad I did, especially because I got to drive through Capitol Reef National Park and see some of the most breathtaking cliffs and rock formations in Utah.
And I turned some of the photos into postcards.
